Here's where we will tell you about the World Harvest Social Supermarket which operates like a food co-op near downtown Los Angeles. This is open to the public and anyone can shop here and there are no questions asked to join or to benefit from the low prices of top quality food.

Update September 26, 2018  Everyone is welcome to shop and save at the World Harvest Social Supermarket near downtown Los Angeles. This is truly a unique place for shop for groceries for your family and you get so much for your money that they hope you will share with others in your neighborhood. Everything sold at the World Harvest Social Supermarket is top quality and comes direct from the giant food wholesalers and supermarket chains with overstocked items and this includes fresh produce as well as frozen meats. There are never any questions asked to shop here unlike other food co-ops that might screen members.

Here's how it works: you make a $40 donation to the World Harvest Social Supermarket and you get two (that's two) big shopping carts filled with top quality groceries that are valued at more than $200. That's right, a $40 donation gets you two big shopping carts that are loaded. But there's something extra: I'm told your $40 donation is tax deductible but check this with your own financial advisor or tax preparer.

There's a reason they are happy to give you two giant shopping carts filled with food: they know it's too much for one family so they want you to share it with others in your neighborhood including families or individuals who can't make the drive to their one location. The giant food companies who donate their overstocked items to World Harvest have this in mind also.

There is also a speciality store inside the World Harvest Social Supermarket where unique grocery items are sold at prices up to 70% off retail. Our Best Buys TV Show report will be added here soon. They are open Monday through Friday from 8-AM till 6-PM and they are open Saturday from 8-AM till 3-PM. Closed Sundays.
